How to update the CipherTrust Manager’s Kernel Compatibility List

If CipherTrust Manager shows that a Linux kernel is not compatible, it’s often because the device’s compatibility list is outdated. To update it, follow these steps:

  1. Visit packages.vormetric.com/pub/.
  2. Download cte_compatibility_matrix.tgz.
  3. Open CipherTrust Manager and navigate to Transparent Encryption > Clients.
  4. Click on Compatibility Matrix and upload the cte_compatibility_matrix.tgz file.

This ensures the latest kernel compatibility information is available.
